Sherana was born nearly 30 Turns ago at High Reaches Weyr, the only full sister of Muriana, due to their parents' proclivities. Sherana was always the quintessential weyrbrat. She revelled in the Weyr's openness and she made friends quickly amongst the others of her age. Growing up, she helped her sister by encouraging her harpery talents, realizing early that Muriana was destined for something else.
The first major change of the girls' lives was when Muriana was apprenticed at Harper Hall. Shortly thereafter, Sherana was searched to stand at Synnoveath's first hatching. She did her chores diligently, and was rewarded with Impression to blue Abinth. Soon afterwards, she impressed blue Sean.
Sh'rana spent the first two turns of her life with Abinth, learning about her dragon and how to fly and everything that it means to be a rider. Shortly thereafter, the two took the leadership of Threadchasers wing. Two turns later saw the two doing double duty as both wingleader and Weyrlingmaster, until a new Weyrleader reorganized the wings. Sh'rana slumped into a funk that Abinth could not alleviate. The two spent a turn serving as Tillek's watchpair while Sh'rana sorted herself out. She also spent an inordinate amount of time in the company of Kendall, son of Lord Falran. Eventually, she was recalled to the Weyr, where she and Abinth serve as mere wingriders these days. She has recently impressed bronze Picky and has kept a long-standing friendship with T'ral, once Masterhealer of Pern and now weyrling to green Olruth.
