Dramatis Personae

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with triumph and disaster
And treat those two imposters just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with wornout tools...

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on";...

Yours is the Earth, and everything in it.

Rudyard Kipling, "If"

THE STAR, STRENGTH AND THE CHARIOT:
To be revealed.

THE FOOL: Dancing on the very barest edge of a cliff high above the earth, a African woman of extrordinary beauty, dressed in flowing Arabian finery --that of a man, not of a woman, the turban and robes and sash, every inch in gilded purple velvets and fine satin, a great golden harp under one arm, a travelling staff balanced over one shoulder, a devil-may-care grin on her lips...in the background, a great, shining city on a bay...

Yet unrevealed.

THE HIGH PRIESTESS: between two stone columns, one of abalaster marble, one of blackest obsidian, in front of a tapestry strung between the two, a white fluffy kitten Pooka sits in a wheelchair, staring enigmatically at you, a "I know something you don't" smile on her lips...on the floor at her feet, a sundial with a crescent moon motif, but with the hours in Roman numerals, counterclock-wise around the dial: I, II, III, VI, V, IV, IIV, IIIV, XI, X, IX, IIX; in her hands and lap, a jumble of glowing, golden pieces, of a puzzle, perhaps...mostly curved pieces...and one circular piece with a burning spiral upon it...the tapestry behind the Pooka has many scenes upon it...of battle and fire, horror and death...

Yet unrevealed.

THE EMPEROR seated upon a throne-like chair, a raven-haired man issues commands, his angular features stern with the burdens of responsibility. Crowned with a golden circlet, twelve-pointed silver stars on a midnight-black uniform showing beneath a mantle of royal purple, he holds in his right hand the thin sceptre of command, gold-inlaid ivory; behind him, pale stars glitter against the darkness of space...

Yet unrevealed.

THE HERMIT: amid grey mists, cloaked in grey, a tall, powerfully built black panther Pooka leans on a staff, holding a glowing amulet on a chain...he seems sad, burdened...

Yet unrevealed.

JUSTICE: on the bridge of some advanced, Jules-Verne like vessel, seated firmly in the captain's command chair, a grey mouse Pooka stares at you with eyes that could cut through steel...dressed in an armored wetsuit, she holds a cutlass in her right fist, pointed at the ceiling...in her left, a pair of balance scales..on her left shoulder, an albatross perches; behind her, several mean-looking gents, rough and tumble, stand at attention...

Yet unrevealed.

TEMPERANCE. With angel's wings and a halo about her head, a young Pooka girl pours water from one cup to the other...

Cassie, Pooka girl: Pub Introduction.

THE SEVEN OF CUPS. A beautiful woman dressed in flowing green, long blond tresses falling past her shoulders and nearly concealing pointed ears, a long cloak fixed by a brooch of a harp and rose, amdist a wreath of thorns. Seven chalices float before her amdist a bright, glowing mist, the sparkle of Glamour about them; treasures lie within, a different one in each cup: the Wreath of Victory, the crown of Rule, the coins of riches, the hourglass, with sand running from bottom to top, of Eternal life. But amist these cups, lie veiled in mist a snake and a dragon...

Lady Mirabelle Llydewyen Sonachi ap Leanhaun, Unseelie Sidhe Knight

Pub Introduction. First arrived in Pub and immediately attempted to kill one of it's patrons. After much chaos, [1], [2], [3],[4], was brought down...whereupon she walked in again, this time as a version of herself from five years earlier. Currently, the younger Mirabelle has returned to her world, and the older is believed to be in Eldaraic Imperium hands...

THE QUEEN OF CUPS: on a stone throne sitting in a garden a-covered with climibing vines and blooming roses, by the edge of a river or large reflecting pool, a graceful brown vixen Pooka dressed in white coat and stethoscope about her neck, with bottle-cap thick eye-glasses looks wistfully into the night sky...in her hands, she holds a golden thermos mug filled not with coffee but rose petals...

Yet unrevealed.

THE THREE OF PENTACLES. An archway, three circular crests embedded within it's ornate scrolls...within the archway, a gnarled and ugly Nocker welds steel into a complex robotic arm, a crest, a key and lightning bolt embossed over a gear, behind him. By his side, a beautiful woman, partially hidden by shadow, with black and white fur, and a big poofy tail, looking perhaps like a skunk...

THE SIX OF PENTACLES. With little children playing happily about him, six of them playing with large frisbee-like disks, a gentleman in a coat of a riot of colors smiles, holding a child who herself plays with a toy scale. A gentleman with long floppy ears, and a golden retriever's tail...

Sir Turnberry Knick-nock, Seelie Pooka, Member, Order of Eilietheya: see character sheet for details.

THE KNIGHT OF PENTACLES: Astride a magnificent black charger, a great knight in cape and full armor surveys his realm. His face is bearded, rough, but gentle; in his hands he holds a golden disk with the emblem of a sunburst and phoenix upon it; the same emblem rides upon the great shield slung on one shoulder, and upon the golden scrollwork, like a crown, that rides atop of his helm...in the distance is the same city we see in the Fool and the Two of Swords...

Yet unrevealed.

THE QUEEN OF PENTACLES: sitting in a hollow of a great oak tree, on a hillside overlooking a wooded river valley in autumn, a cute and smiling black-and-white furred Skunk Pooka holds a large coin or plate embossed with the Gear, key and lightening bolt...

Yet unrevealed.

THE TWO OF SWORDS: On the edge of a great sea, a satyr with rakishly good looks stands at guard in full armor, grinning...he holds two long swords, one in each hand, crossed before him...yet his eyes are blindfolded by a purple scarf or sash...behind him, the same shining city on a bay seen in the Fool...on the left side of the card, great fireworks burst in the night sky over the city...on the right, fire burns among the towers...

Yet unrevealed.

THE THREE OF SWORDS: Long curly red locks of hair frame the face of a freckled Eshu of eastern european ancestry, dressed in ornate flowing robes worn with travel, twin swords tucked in her belt, a brooch of a harp pinned on her coat. She looks to the sky, her hands clenched as if in prayer; around her, a field of tombstones; behind her, in the midst of a steady rain, a large crimson heart, within which is a faint, stylized design of a pelican wounding it's own breast. That heart is pierced by three old-fashioned keys made of crystal...

Yet unrevealed.

THE FIVE OF SWORDS: A sneering Sidhe noble, of Nordic extraction --long blond hair, crystal blue eyes, stands upon a beach, two swords carried over his shoulder and a third at guard, two more tossed away on the ground. All are edged with blood. Upon his tunic is a griffin in gold on a field of green, with a black snake curling around it; under his feet, the crest of a white lion on red; around him, silver coins fall from the sky --thirty pieces in all. Behind him, in the distance, walk away two other figures --the Redcap from the Five of Wands, and the Eshu from the Three of Swords, and the Sidhe's head is turned to watch them go...but in front of him, on the ground, unnoticed by the Sidhe, are the shadows of two approaching figures...

Yet unrevealed.

THE SEVEN OF SWORDS: in the background, the tents of a great camp...above that camp flies the banner of the phoenix and sunburst...in the foreground, a darkly handsome, well-built man, with long black hair down to his shoulders, dressed in rich black velvet, the sigil of a dragon in flight and several stars worked in silver on his front, and a carnival mask upon his face, through his hair sticks pointed ears --a Sidhe. He is smiling with malice as he tip-toes away from the camp, carrying five swords in his hands, swords he has clearly stolen from a stash behind him that now only has two swords left stuck in the dirt...

Yet unrevealed.

THE EIGHT OF SWORDS: High in the mountains, within a ring of eight long swords driven into the dirt, a robed man, long, unkempt hair, an uncontrollably grown beard, his robe worked with intricate celtic knots and a complex sigil featuring a Griffin atop a crossed wand and sword; he stands, his arms bound to his sides, his hands bound in front of him, blindfolded, even as magickal fire blazes from his bound hands, deep anguish and/or frustration written on his face...within the magical fire in his hands is a single rose...a rose that appears to be wilting...around the outside of the ring of swords are the skeletons of many animals...and people...

Yet unrevealed.

THE PAGE OF SWORDS. High on a hill overlooking a city stretched along a long ocean beach, the sky blazing with the colors of sunset, a middle aged, olive-skinned woman of middle eastern descent in grey nun's robes stands, sword at the ready in both hands, her long black hair blown back by the tropical winds. Her eyes are piercing, like they see into the very depths of your soul, yet her facial expression is kind. A sash across her chest, white, with a single symbol upon it over her right breast; a stylized capital Z superimposed upon a red Croix Patte. Behind her, the ghostly images of an older woman --perhaps an older female relative, or herself at an older age-- and a unicorn look on with love; in the background giant skyscrapers, each a mighty city by themselves, march up the beach, buildings in warm pastel colors, curved and swooping, neon and lights.

Yet unrevealed.

THE QUEEN OF SWORDS: amidst piles of gold and strings of jewels, treasures heaped upon shelves and a large WANTED poster featuring herself tacked on the wall, we see a side-ways profile of a brown feline Pooka sitting on a ornately decorated golden chair, a great sword hanging point-up on the wall directly to her side. The Pooka's face is staring straight ahead, we see only the side...long tresses of shock-white hair run down to almost her waist, black leather gloves and boots, the hood of a green-brown-many-colored cloak pushed back; despite the obvious riches around her, she does not appear happy...

Yet unrevealed.

THE TWO OF WANDS. On the battlements of a great fortress, a shining city below him, a man stands, grasping a staff whose end is glowing, a staff which appears to be made of two rods coiled about each other. He is wearing a large, pointed straw hat, like the iteriant monks of Asia, and long flowing robes...

Zhouting Chen-chu: Akashic Brother. More to come.

THE FIVE OF WANDS. The scene is a Redcap, wielding a battleaxe, surrounded by 4 Sidhe warriors armed with staves. It appears to be in a desert. He swings his Axe around, connecting with one of the weapons of the others, but behind him, one of them is swinging a staff at the back of his head, while the other two are swinging their staves down. Filling the background faintly behind him, three crystal keys, each with an arcane symbol on the handle, surround a crystal disk, a crystal disk that appears to made of three concentric rings, like a crystal bull's-eye target, covered in runes and symbols of all kinds, and a thin line of script surrounding keys and disk...

Yet unrevealed.

THE SEVEN OF WANDS. Standing upon a clifftop, facing off against six shadowy opponents armed with staves, a samurai warrior stands her ground, her ninjitsu in hand, her family crest --three dots arranged at the points of an equilateral triangle, within a circle-- on her banner attached to her back. Back to back with her, a black-furred Garou, with the long, lean look of the jackal, stands in Hispo form, ready for battle...

Chikako Inazuma Miyamoto, Immortal, and and Sarabi Ghost-among-Watchers, Strider Ragabash. Currently in alternate dimention fighting against mad Sidhe at the behest of Dutchess Rowan Silverhair HyNeil ap Scathbach. More to come.

THE TEN OF WANDS: back to us, a mongrel Garou in Crinos form wrestles with some arcane piece of glowing, pulsing machinery, composed of ten crystal staves twisted together, his body wracked with the same energy, his head pulled back in pain...he appears to be in a ruined command center or machine room of some kind, where moss and dead vines appear to have begun infiltrating...the floor is covered with broken flat pieces of glass, yet the Garou stands bare-footed upon them without appearing to cut himself...

Yet unrevealed.

THE KNIGHT OF WANDS. Astride a ladder leading to the cockpit of a sleek spacecraft in Buck-Rodgers style, a charging horse painted on it's nose art, holding a glowing wrench or spanner in one hand, a young Pooka girl that looks like him in the other, is a scruffy gentleman with a sheepdog's ears and tail...

THE QUEEN OF WANDS. Reclining in a large, almost throne-like lazy-boy, amidst the happy clutter of scattered teddy bears and books and other brick-a-brack, in one hand a long magic staff, in the other she cuddles a stuffed toy black panther, a ravishingly beautiful woman with tiger-striped tail and fur laughs invitingly...
